Ok. I like the blues / Blues Funk.
I can do bass + maybe some keyboards
we need a couple of more people and them we got our selve a project.![]()
I don't think many peeps know of this branch in the forum ![]()
So do you have anything in mind that you'd like to do? I have Cubase-4 and Ableton Live 7/8.
I'm game ...I've already colloborated with a few folks here on about 7 or 8 different projects ... feel free to hit me up and if I have time I'll be glad to have some fun.![]()
sounds cool. We need one more person and we've got something. Then we can figure out the "who does what".
I use Cubase 5, Reason, EZ Drummer (all with all expansion packs)...........
I can program the drums, play bass or guitar. It doesn't matter. I want to have fun with this.

I can't do Bass because at the moment I don't have one handy but I can put together a drum track and any guitars you want.
Guess what really needs to happen is somone needs to get an idea started ....keep me posted I'll have my eyes peeled.
I rock hard abs wahser board style!!!
I'll be sending you guys a basic blues idea. Yea......blues again but this time an actual song with singing and guitar solos. The way I want to do this very simple. Everyone contributes everything BUT we all have a vote in the actual track that'll be used in the final mix. This way the majority votes for which drum track they like, which bass track they like or gutar and vocal track all the way down to the lyrics + mix/master. There's no rush on this. I want the be one the best colab I've been part of even if it means if none of my tracks or skills are used. What do you guys think?
geeker
Sure works for me...
i do a bit of everything... have a v-drum setup and use superior/ezdrummer for my recording platform i'm currently using ableton 7...
Hi all,
Is it too late to join the fun? I can do guitars, vox, and a few other bits and pieces (notmuch of a drum programmer or bassist but I can have a stab).
Let me know how to get involved if there's still time...
all the best
Pete
What vocal styles do you cover I mean if you had to compare yourself to someone who do you sound like. I may need some vocal assistance if I cant handle some of them and sound like I want to sound.
I guess I'm kinda bluesy/soul. Best way to tell is to have a listen... www.reverbnation.com/petefowler
Let me know if you think I can help...
You have a good tonal quality to your voice and the mixes on your tracks are pretty solid.
Have you ever thought of branching into other areas ..the album I'm working on is a story line concept album with a modernish prog rock feel to it I would liken to Tool's 10k days or Queenryche musically but I'm looking for good dynamic range vocally from smooth to rough at times I prefer vocals ala Maynard Keenan from Tool from 10,000 days but not exactly like his I mention this only for a general idea of what I am looking for.
Stay in the mix and in the know.
