So I have Logic 8 express on my iMac which seems great. I am a newbie and only been using Reaper for some time. I got Ez Drummer working and all.

The problem is I cannot get my Line 6 UX1 to record my guitar at all. I have activated pod farm and updated the drivers via monkey.

The problem:

I put line 6 Ux1 as my Insert and the plugin screen pops out. So far so good? Then I plug in my guitar into Instrument input and I can't get any sound at all. I can't get anything recorded or anything, It just stays there dead with the plugin saying "**** you" to my face. When you add new track theres as option on the "audio track" the input and output and on the input there is only Input 1 and 2.

Just give me a quick heads up of how to get started on recording with the UX1 in Logic and I would be forever grateful. I love the software but I can't record guitars at the moment.

Setup is:

Guitar => Line 6 instrument input => USB=> iMac
Line 6 monitor out=> Peavey amp.

I can't get it to work as a plugin and I sure as hell can't record with the standalone software either for some reason The UX1 is recognized and i can record in Reaper with standalone.
