Workbench edit window

Hi friends!

 

I use variax 300 and interface, untill now there was no problem.

 

Now when I use workbench and open edit window it goes to task bar, I can see it when point the cursor over it, I see it it is there and minimized.

The problem is that I can not maximize it !!!!!

 

All drivers, firmware and application are updated. I use windows vista and this problem did not happen before.

I reinstalled workbench and Java. I tried change monitor resolution. Nothing solved the problem.

 

Could you help me?

      No clue... however, you might need to set up Vista to run Workbench in XP mode...   how much memory do you have?

        I have low HD free memory 30-40 GB, 2 GB RAM.

         

        But listen, I did not change any configuration and it was working fine !?

          I meant the RAM... HD doesn't come into play.  4GB will give you far better performance.  I've also had programs work once then not again in Vista until I changed to run in XP mode.  Try it.

            I did so many things and as I remember I have already tried this.

             

            I will do it again carefully.

             

            I will be at home only next week.

              Sergio,

              Do you have a dual-display setup on your computer? I had something similar happen to me with GearBox. I had my laptop set up on the right side of my desk, with a second monitor on the right. I switched them around physically as well as in the Windows display properties settings, but GearBox still opened up in the "virtual space" that the second monitor used to be in. I had to switch them back in the properties, drag GearBox back onto my laptop screen, then switch the properties once again. I hope this makes sense....

            Hi!

             

            I tried run in XP mode. Nothing changed, still having a problem

    Hello,

    My Workbench edit window is not complette. I haven't tuninng options. I have only pages: body, pick-up and tones and volums but have not below this window with fingerboard screen and tuning options. I have latest ver. of workbench (1.58) and any drivers.I connect my Variax 300 to XT-Live and to laptop by USB cable. Cominications is OK, i can read/write any to my Variax 300 but i don't see any tunning options and switches. Please tell me what is wrong?

    ps. sorry, my english is bad ;-)

      You have to turn on the tuning option... there should be a button labeled ENABLE, then you will be able to do the tunings.

        Thanks for answer. This is my workbench screen, nobody Enable swintch (option) is not visible. Maybe tunning option work only by USB Interface? I haven't this box . My conection is by XT-Life but all other funcions working OK. Maybe free version of Workbench haven't tuning function only when punching this program ? I don't know what things about this , please help me, THX
