Nickelback VS Portugal = Pickleback

Cool - that's the job I'd like - go to work - get hit by pickle - go home - get paid.
Who takes rocks to a rock concert? Somebody doesn't understand what "rock" is.
But I think before they picled it - it was one of these ......
hahaha
Nickelback..you love 'em or hate 'em ![]()
They live close to me and Kroeger got stopped in his Lamborghini for speeding and got charged with drunk driving.
There are about 3 Lamborghinis that I see now and then - but I can never see the face of the driver - nor do I know what color car he drives.
I should stock up on pickles.
I remember hearing that..you're in Vancouver, eh? ..lucky! I love it out there.
So I guess you're more of a pickle fan than a nickel fan?
I don't mind Nickelback if I see them on t.v.
I wouldn't throw rocks or pickles at them. Although I like the idea of throwing pickles at Lamborghinis as long as it wasn't just me.
It would be quite a mystery to their owners.
I wouldn't pay to see their concert though - but then again - I don't go to concerts anymore.
With the Olympics starting on Fri. - there will be many many free concerts with good bands for a couple of weeks. After I find out who they are - I may brave the crowds and see a couple.
Throwing pickles at Lamborghinis does sound attractive. We'd need a points system.
I'm not a huge fan of Nickelback, but I do like them. There are a bunch of bands I'm not too fond of. I would never spend the money to go to a concert just to throw a pickle at the band... or throw anything else for that matter. I find that very disrespectful.
In the end, we've all heard of Nickelback but nobody knows who the pickle thrower is (excepting his close friends). That says, to me, that Nickleback is doing something right... whether you like them or not.
yeah man, nobody deserves stuff thrown at them by some anonymous coward...you could get injured by a freak lucky shot.
Also, unless you're a punk band, I doubt that much good could come of giving the finger to thousands of people watching your band playing live.
No denying that they sell CD's by the caseload....even if I didn't buy any of them ![]()
There's a program on Discovery channel called "Factory Made" - it shows how they manufacture all kinds of things.
I just turned it on and the subject was pickles. ![]()
Invented 4000 years ago in India - Roman soldiers thought they gave them power - Cleopatra used them as a beauty cream - football players drink the juice.
They soak in brine for 3 months then take numerous baths to get rid of all the salt. Then they're ready to throw.
I saw Nickelback on the 2010 Olympics closing ceremonies (NBC stopped broadcasting just before they came on) and was almost a fan.
They played a song called "Burn it to the Ground" which sounded just like the music I DO like.
So I found some clips on Utube including that on - then I played 5 or 6 others and they sounded like what I thought Nickelback sounded like - so I wasn't as impressed.
This one is great - if they were all like it -= I'd be a fan.

I want my nickel back
I like everything about "Burn It to the Ground" (the song) except some of the lyrics kept me from buying it on iTunes.
Yeah I noticed it's a bit raunchy.
It sounds familiar - either Atlanta Rhythm Section or Eagles or a combination or something in my memory banks is vibrating.
The pickle is obviously fake it was a rock. After a little googling it seems that their management had booked them for a death metal festival in portugal. Betcha somebody got fired.
Stay in the mix and in the know.
