Before i go to the trouble of listing my Variax 500 on ebay i thought i would offer the guts of it for anyone looking to do a transplant.

The guitar itself is in perfect working order with the exception of the neck that has badly pitted frets and i don't think it is repairable without a re-fret - that would make it an uneconomical repair so i am offering it on the basis that it is only usefull for the electronics.

I at this stage am not setting a price as i am open to offers - I am located in Australia and the buyer would be responsible for any shipping charges.

It is your choice if you take the guitar as a whole or just want the electronics - the loaded body without the neck could also be an option.
