I recieved today my copy of Pod Farm Platinum (ilok version), I think! I payed for the platinum version the box says its the platinum "106 guitar and bass amp models etc. I installed the disc ( the disc does not say it is platinum). I decided to see if it installed properly, however when I launched the programme it was only the standard version ( 19 guitar amps 5 bass amps etc). I don't want to put it on my ilok incase the wrong version was put in the wrong box and it has to go back. Any help with this would be great.
Thanks
The software is the same for all versions. The additional models will be unlocked by your iLok.
Also, whatever software you got with the iLok is obsolete. Make sure you visit the "Downloads" section http://line6.com/software/ and download the latest version of POD Farm (ver 1.11). You only need to install the plug-ins, not the entire program.
So what your saying that the software I had to pay an extra £12 for to have it delivered I should now throw away. Anyway, I did what you said and downloaded version 1.11. I can confirm my purchase is recorded in my line 6 account page. I can also confirm that my licience is on my ilok key. I can also confirm that it still does not work, The software does not recognise my ilok as I have the message "no authorized device connected. POD Farm cannot process audio"(345,000 hits on google). If you try to open line 6 monkey ilok is not in the supported hardware. Other software I have on my ilok works fine, someone needs to sort this out. If I took delivery of line 6 products without paying I'd be taken to court.
Are you opening it up as a VST in your recording program, or are you trying to run the stand-alone. The stand-alone does not work with iLok.
Thanks for both your replies. What I have done is uninstalled everything (line 6) and started again. Bit of a nuisance loosing my line 6 hardware. You are right I can now get it to work in cubase essentials but not standalone on my desktop. I still have a desktop icon to open it up on my desktop, strange I don't see the point unless you want your customers to consider other products that will allow this ! If I want to use it as standalone all I have to do is open up an audio track in cubase an press the monitor button but not the record. Bit of a pain if you just want practise for ten minutes though. Thanks again for your help
