I installed all of the beta drivers for Snow Leopard, but GearBox won't open. I can record fine through the instrument jack on my Toneport UX1, but the other inputs don't work and GearBox says there's a hardware error. It worked perfectly on my old computer (a Toshiba laptop) but it doesn't seem to like me new iMac. If there is any other software that might make this work please tell me! I need this working ASAP, I need to record voice overs for a documentary and I really don't want to be stuck with the built in mic.
You also might try POD Farm, you can download it here http://line6.com/software/
There are no snow leopard POD farm updates yet. Thanks for trying, though.
I believe that you can use POD Farm 1.11. Just don't install the drivers. Keep the beta drivers.
Take a look at this (rather old) thread.
Cheers
How do I not install the drivers? Is there an option to not install them or do I have to delete them later?
Good question. On Windows, you can deselect the driver install. I don't know about Mac. You may have to install them and then reinstall the beta drivers.
