How record with Podxt and Garageband on a Mac?

Hi fellas, my father recently bought an iMac (the big one 27") and I was wondering how i record with my Pod on it? Cause when i connect the Pod with the Mac through the USB output nothing happens. No pop-ups or anything. So i figured there must be som plug-ins or something i must download first. Could you tell me what to do, and how to get my guitar sound through the Pod and into Garageband?

    I have the same requirement, and the same problem! My Imac is running software version 10.6.7 and I've downloaded the latest Gearbox stuff. I can set the audio input in Garageband to Podxt and connect the firewire-USB up, but nothing happens for me too! Maybe Apple doesn't like Line 6 because GuitarPort rivals Garageband, so connecting up is not facilitated?  Anyone know how to do this?
