Q about FBV MkII Express Wah use

I have the FBV MkII Express & a Spider IV 75. My question is this, How do I go about creating a preset/tone that utilizes the wah heel-toe action. so that I have control on the wah as compared to Auto Wah. I've already done all my updates & add-ons as far as Firmwares, FX Infusion, Spider IV Edit, etc; etc.
Any & all help/suggestions is appreciated in advance thanks,
Dweller
Hi Des,
No problems here. First, hit the edit button on the amp, then use the navigating button by pushing the east-right side to go through the various pages. Eventually, you will come to the Wah page, which I is one of the last, and using the edit controller, you can scroll through the various different wahs that came with the latest update. Now in order to turn it on, use your Express pedal and push it all of the way down. You will feel a little click and the red LED turns on to indicate that the pedal is now in Wah mode and it will stay like this until you push it all of the way down again, which will then put it back into its other mode. The new wahs are really nice too.
Hope this gets you going.
Geoff
Thanks Geoff,
I tried it before leaving for work this afternoon & it worked just how you stated it would
. I can't wait til this weekend because I'm taking a little vacation & I will be delving into this hard & heavy. I love my Line6 stuff & just want to use it to it's full potential, the possibilities are great!
Thanks so very much & Kudos,RAWK ON!!!

Hey Bobby,
Glad to see you got it working, and yes, their stuff is great and even moreso, their dedication to updating and maintaining their products. I'm sure you will have a great time this weekend. I guess you did the clibrating of the pedal after updating it also too. If not, there are good instructions on the boards, and I believe, on the update page itself, on how to do it and it can be done in about a minute, so make sure you do that too.

Geoff,
Thanks for reminding me. I tried to calibrate it a few times since i got it without getting past "1" on the LED screen. But since talking with you I just tried again & now I know that it takes a bit of stomp to engage the Wah. I've got it calibrated now thanks. Is it common to have to stomp it pretty good to get the Wah engaged do you know?
If so I hope it can hold up to my 280 lbs ![]()
Thanks once again & Up The Irons!! ![]()
Bobby
Okay Bobby, regarding the "stomp" factor, yes it does take a pretty good amount of force, but seeing as I can do it with my 135 pounds, I would suggest NOT using all 280!!
I tend to use the bottom part of my foot just under the ball to engage it just so as to not use too much force. Did you get the whole calibration thing done then?
Cheers,
Geoff
Geoff,
Thanks yes I did get it calibrated. And after your advice I see my problem was sitting & stomping. When standing I just have to roll the ball of my foot as you said & it engages quite easy. Hopefully the few stomps I did to it didn't damage anything but I have faith in the sturdiness of the pedal. So thanks again your advice has been most beneficial.
Cheers to you brother,
Bobby
