JM4 & POD - do they sound the same?

Hi,

 

Can someone tell me if the amps and effects in the JM4 are the same as those found in the Pocket POD and POD express?

 

If you listen to both units on the same settings will they sound exactly the same or are the algorithms different?

    Hello,

        The amps and effects are similar, but not exactly the same.  The JM4 is based on the Spider III technology, where the PocketPOD is based on the POD 2.0.  The models may sound different due to changes in the processors, but you will need to try them out for yourself to see if it sounds good to you.
