hi
1---I downloaded the latest drver and monkey for pod xtpro.
the monkey does not recognize my pod xt pro it is seeing it as pod xt only.
2---what about line 6 edt and pod farm?
regards
badwis,
Please try the following:
1) Completely uninstall all Line 6 software.
2) Download and install the latest version of Gearbox and Line 6 Monkey and the latest compatible driver, in that order.
3) Remove all other USB devices (except for a mouse, keyboard, and the PODxt Pro) while troubleshooting this issue. Completely remove ANY USB hubs and test the PODxt Pro on all of the computer's USB ports.
If the problem persists, I suggest isolating the problem by testing this all on another computer to see if it works at all.

Hi
thank you for your answer.
1---the driver is ok.
2---gearbox is ok.
3---gearbox vst is not activated because the monkey is displaying pod xt not pod xt pro.and naturally pod farm is not activated.
PS:i did everything as you discribed
I managed to make the monky work through the trouble shooter and I got those messages in the pic attached.
do you have another solution???
thank you in dvance
Hello,
Line 6 Monkey 1.33 should see your PODxt Pro. Maybe a screenshot of running on Monkey 1.33 with your PODxt Pro connected would be good reference.
Thanks for your previous screenshot, because it shows us that maybe we need to clarify the functionality of our software with your PODxt Pro...
1. POD Farm will NOT work with the PODxt Pro in Standalone Mode (like you have it running on your desktop). This is by design. Only GearBox 3.71 (you need to set the OS to XP or Vista at this time) will function in Standalone Mode with PODxt Pro's.
2. PODxt Pro do NOT come with the optional POD Farm Plug-In License, so you won't be able to "activate/authorize" that feature, as it's not installed in your PODxt Pro. You would have to first buy the optional POD Farm Plug-In license key and install it.
GearBox Plug-In licenses are no longer available for sale (since Fall of 2008), so that will not be something you can use.
The current version of Line6Edit will only run on XP and Vista operating systems at this point in time. It is not compatible with Windows 7.
Sorry if all this information seems like a lot to read and understand. Hopefully it does clarify your understanding on which programs work with your PODxt Pro better, though.

L6Perry
