Can I save tone 2 of a patch to tone 2 of another without having both tone saved?

Not sure if this is clear, so i will try again, Tone 1 is a guitar tone going to the amp, tone 2 is a vocal tone going to the PA. I found a vocal tone I'm happy with and I want to ''copy'' it to most of my patches. When I push the ''save to'' button, I can choose tone 1 or tone 2, but even if I choose tone 2, Tone 1 comes too when I save it to another patch. Is there any way around this, I don't want to redo my vocal tone for every patch. I know it's easy with Gearbox but I don't have access to Gearbox right now.
sort of...
1. go to the patch that has the vocal tone you want to copy.
2. lock tone 2. (this is the little lock looking thing at the bottom of the LCD
3. go to the new patch you want to copy it to. tone 2 will come with it.
4. save this patch, and it will save the old tone 1 with the new tone 2, effectively doing the same thing.
#2 above is the easiest....
simply twist 3rd knob under the display and notice the lock icon...
when thats locked... stomp away use whichever tone1 you like... tone2 will stay the selected (vocal) patch that you locked on...
that's why its there!... confuses many people... myself included at first.
So, if I got this right, I'm not really copying the tone 2, but I'm assigning it by default to all patches by locking it, is that right? So if I unlock it, my other patches will go back to wathever tone 2 was on their patches?
