http://notetoselfdontdie.co.uk/?q=node/209 My first actual song on iTunes recorded with the X3 Live used on guitar and bass...
I don't think i could have gotten this tone without the X3....
marlowx,
Are both songs only 55 seconds? Or are they teazer tracks to sell the complete song or ?
hey dude,
they are just samples cause that is how the website is set up...
but this place has longer samples:

i am so excited about the X3
You're latest link did not work for me. If you want 55 second teazers, that is fine, but sounds rather incomplete. If you want to post your entire songs, I recommend: soundclick.com.
dude,
i guess i should have been more specific... i was really asking about the guitar tone...
but hey thanks...
marlowx,
Guitar tone is OK, but not extraordinary (for an X3). In your demos, the vocals & guitar(s) are fighting with one another in the mix: the frequency range is too similar. I recommend this: double-track the guitar recording (play the same exact thing or very similar, do NOT do a copy & paste job. Record guitar tracks separately). Pan one guitar track hard to the left. Pan the other guitar track hard to the right. Also, when you do this, less distortion/gain is necessary. Playing has to be fairly tight, or it won't sound good. If the vocals are sitting in the middle (don't have stereo effects on vocals spread far left & right), everything should stand out better. If you've never tried it before, you'd be surprised what a difference it makes.
Stay in the mix and in the know.
