power supply problem or broken pod?

i recently bought a used line 6 floor pod... but it didn't have the power supply... after some searching I found a 3amp max multiple volt ACDC converter and plugged her up at 9v...\r\nLED activity was great... but didn't work... no sound... so exchanged it for another used one at the same place, again without the original power supply... got it home, and plugged her up... LED display works... reset to factory proceedure works Looks good to go... no sound again! Tuner didn't even work on either... headphones got slight crackling... that is all... then I got on-line and saw that it required 9v AC! I have been able to switch between ac and dc on 12v power supply's for some other devices... and both worked... the odds that both used units are bad are not good i would think... is it the problem? and where can i get the original power supply, or test the unit on one? could i test it quickly with 12v AC at over 2000ma to see if DC is the problem?
Hello,
Using the incorrect Power supply can potentially damage the unit. A 9v AC 2000ma power supply is needed for the FloorPOD, we reccomend you borrow a power supply and try it out at a local Line 6 dealer. See the following link for more power supply information:
