M9 functions

After reading lot's of good rewievs on the M9 I went out and bought one. Probably my knowledge of the english language is not good enough because I can't figure out how it works, OR I thought that M9 could do things it can not. I bought the M9 because what I basically want is, say, 4 different sounds.
Ex. 1/ The "clean channel" (Marshall JVM) some chorus + a bit delay + a bit of reverb. 2/ Od. 1 on my amp. a bit tube screamer + a bit of delay. 3/ the od. 2 on the amp. + the tubdrive + delay. 4/ crunch channel on the amp. + tubescreamer + more delay + reverb.
I thought scenes meant that I would be able to "programme" these different sounds and beeing able to call them up one by one by just hitting one out of 4 footswitches (yes I have a midicable between the M9 and the amp.).
Is this possible? If not, what is it I am looking for? The M9 seamed to have everything I wanted. I'm not looking for simulated amps and so on.
I also have a T-rex fueltank, 9V DC outlet (500 mA) centre is negative. Can use that to feed the M9?
Thank you very much for answering

It sounds like you're wanting the M9 to be a MIDI controller for your amp. It wasn't really meant to do that. It does send PC messages when you select a scene, but these can't be programmed. Some amps have a "learn" function that enables them to respond to different MIDI message, and I don't know if yours does or not. Really, the M9 was meant to be controlled by MIDI, not be a controller.
As far as the T-Rex fueltank, it won't work. The M9 requires 9V AC. You can search some of the other threads for my responses to these types of questions. But the main point is that only work on 9V AC.
Thank you for the a quick answer.
From what you wright it seams you're not really sure it won't work, am I correct? With a little bit of luck it might, anyone?
About the powersupply, of course you're absolutly correct, I should have known.
Zakk,
Are you familiar with how the Scenes work on the M9?
With the M9, you are always in an effect Scene which can have up to 3 effects on at once, one from each FX Unit. Typically, you see the individual effects that are in each scene, using the switches to turn each one on and off. However, if you want to jump from one set of effects to another, you will need to switch between scenes.
I would suggest putting the Scene Mode on the M9 to Latch in the Setup menu, then press TAP+3A footswitches together to view the scenes. You will need to have your different scenes programmed to how you want them to be set. From there, you should be able to press the corresponding footswitch for each scene to just from scene to scene.

Thank you, I will try that.
