I recently purchased an LD300 from Guitar Center.  Got a killer price on it and they tried to sell me an extended warranty on it.  They told me that at that price, guitar center would not participate in any returns.  I liked the amp and said no problem.  When I got it home, you could tell from the screws that the amp had been repaired.  They did not disclose this to me.  Not the issue at hand.

I love the sound of this amp and the presets make it easy to use on stage.  I now am looking at purchasing a Lowdown 750HD.  I just called Sweetwater to order it and they told me that they had one unit in stock, but it has to be returned because it was defective.  They told me they could ship another unit within one week.  

I am now skiddish about buying this unit.  Amps have to work when you are doing a performance, no excuses.  Why are these units being offered so inexpensively?  Is there a problem?  Do you have a more reliable unit being offered in the future and this is why you are clearing these out?
