Line 6 Edit refused to work.

I have tried to activate Line6 Edit and it crashes on my Mac. I finally pinpoint the issue with the Java version it will work with. I got the same error on my laptop, but when I went to java.com and loaded an older version of java 5.0; they had it on line also under older java version; line 6 edit works flawlessly here after. Although it is the right solution for Windows users but not so for MAc users; they did not provide any support for a MAc OS. When would you be able to upgrade or patch Line6 edit to accept a higher version of Java so that I can use it with my MAc without having to have multiple installation procedures setup to use the software; I just wanted to use the Mac alone since all my stuffs are connected to the Mac.
We currently do not have a supported version of the Line 6 Edit program for Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard. So if you must use your Mac computer for editing, you will need to download and install the Gearbox 3.71 software, then download and install the latest compatible Mac drivers 4.6.8.
After they are installed, you can use the Gearbox software to edit your PODxt Live.
