how to save tones on pod x3 from line 6 custom tones?

i'm running windows 7 having pod x3 (not pod x3 live)

i looked at the software downloads in line6.com and i saw that

there is no gear box available for pod x3 using windows 7

is there any other way that i can save tones on my pod x3 from custom tones?

From the website you can 'get' the tone, which will be saved locally as a .l6t file. I think that you can use Line6 Monkey to load an l6t file into the pod, though I can't verify this right now.

  It is my understanding that the Vista version of Gearbox works fine on Windows 7 (when telling the Line6 site what OS you have just say vista).

    I just saw that line 6 added in software downloads today gear box for pod x3 for windows 7
    I thought that you might like to know

There is gear box for pod x3 for windows 7 available today
