Toneport KB37 causes crash in Mac 10.6.2

Just installed Gearbox and did the system restart. Now if I plug in my Toneport KB37 by USB, the screen goes gray and it says I have to restart the system.

 

Has anybody else experienced this? How can I remedy this?
