Do the JM4 and Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2+ work together?

So I just bought a Pedal Power 2+ since your FAQ implied that it would power the JM4 Looper. If you go to your website and under Products->Stompbox Pedals->Stompbox Modelers the JM4 is listed. So I assumed it was a Modeling pedal, which your Power Supply and Amp FAQ says is supported http://line6.com/community/docs/DOC-4269
"The Voodolab Pedal Power II Plus can power up to 6 Tonecore pedals and two Modeling pedals at once, and the Voodoo Lab Pedal Power AC can power up to four Modeling pedals."
Howerver when I connect my JM4 it powers up but the display is very dim like its not getting enough power. Is the JM4 supposed to work with the Pedal Power 2+ and I got a bad unit or does it require too much power?
Thanks,
Kyle
Are you using port 5 or port 6 of the Pedal Power 2+? Did you remember to take the DIP switch for that port out of "Normal" mode? Did you use the red barrel connectors?
From the Pedal Power 2 Plus manual page 7
Line6 Modeling Pedals
You can power the Line6 modeling pedals (but not POD) using outputs 5 or 6 and setting the corresponding switch away from NORMAL.
Remember to use the RED 5.5x2.5mm barrel cable for these pedals.
Yes I've tried both ports 5 & 6, in the non-normal mode and neither of these work. I'm using the red cable as well. It does work with the original power supply so I know that the JM4 is working. The Power 2+ is working with a couple of regular pedals and an reverb plugged into the external outlet. I've also tried unplugging everything except the JM4 so it was the only draw on the power 2+.
The only thing I can think of is that the JM4 draws more current. From doing some reading it sounds like the DL4 modeler's power supply has 1200mA marked on it. The JM4 has 2000mA on it so perhaps it needs more that the power 2+ can supply.
The other stomps, like the DL-4 also run on batteries. It looks like the JM4 does not, and is powered similar to the PODs. Looks like it needs more power than the PP2+ can provide. Can you plug the PX-2 into the outlet in back of the PP2+? I know it's not the best solution . . .
I'd have to get a power strip of some sort as I've already got an external device I wanted to power there. And if I get a power strip it defeats the purpose of the PP2+... I appreciate the suggestions.

Hello,
The JM4 does have a higher current draw requirement than our 4-button Stomp Effect Modelers. You should be using the PX-2 to power a single JM4 for correct behavior of the device.

Thanks for the confirmation. Can you say what the current draw is?
Thanks,
Kyle
Hi,
Somewhere around 1600mA. Output setting of the unit will be a slight variable, of course.
