Pre Production Vetta II

Hi, I am interested in this amp, but the seller claims it's a pre-production model and can't be registered threw Line6 nor updated in any way through Line6. Now it can be updated directly from another Vetta II through MIDI, but what i want to know is. Am I going to run into problems at a later date because of this?Is there any other way i can get support for this unit, or is that a lost cause? I really like to register my Line6 products and be able to update them with model packs and firmware.

    Ron,

       

      With pre-production units are not supported as some do not have the ability to be updated as it was developed before the full featured retail version of the product was released.

       

      The latest version of the Vetta flash memory is version 2.5.  There will not be any further updates to the Vetta, as announced over a year ago.

       

      If you would like a Vetta with full features, I suggest you purchase a retail production unit.
