flextone amps on pod farm

I recently got a UX1 Studio with POD Farm, and would like to know if there is any way I can activate the amp models from my FLEXTONE III on the POD Farm.

Also, I tried connecting my FLEXTONE III through GEARBOX, and I can see the amp models on it, but cannot get any sound from it.

    Hello,

        The Flextone III models are identical to the PODxt models, and PODxt tones (.l6t) will open up as long as you have the power pack installed on your POD Farm device.  Try importing your Flextone III tones into your amp using Line 6 edit, then

      try opening the tones in in POD Farm.  POD Farm will recognize the .l6t extension, so you should have no problems unless there is a model pack used that you do not have.

      Andy, thanks for the prompt reply to my question, but I was asking about the Amp models, not the tones themselves. I do not have the power pack on my POD FARM, but I thought there would be a way to activate the models I have on my FLEXTONE III on the POD FARM, since I already have them in my Amp.

    Hello,

        No, there is no way to activate the amp models using your Flextone III.  If you want to use the same amp models in POD Farm as you have in your Flextone III you will want to purchase the Power Pack model pack for your UX1 at the following location: http://line6.com/store/modelpacks/ux1
