Hi,
I'm not 100 % sure but I believe this happened after the upgrade of my M13 unit to the version 2.01. While I'm playing than the volume drops. It can stay at a very low level for days that it increases again. I check my amp but it is ok than I found a big volume difference between the True bypass and the dsp bypass while the output level is low. I use the 4 cable connection. Using the 2 cable connection ( M 13 into the Amp Input) I don't have this problem. I'm using a Laney LC-15 (the new one) with a parallel loop effect controlled by a 3 positions switch Bypass, 0db and 10db (I use the 0db pos.)
My problem is not the output level high or low but the fact that it is changing the volume when I'm playing :-(
Hope my English is understandable :-)
Thanks for any help you could give me.
EC.
You can't use true bypass with the 4-cable method, or else what you describe is what will happen. If you have the M13 in true bypass with it connected via the 4-cable method, you bypass your amp's preamp when have the M13's effects bypassed. That's why there's the big difference in volume.
Hi,
Thanks for your answer. I know I can't use it. The problem is that the M13 is with dsp bypass but still while I'm playing it increase or decrease the volume. I have noted if you go in setup mode , when the output volume is high the difference between true byp and dsp byp is more less the same, when the output is low there is a big difference between them.
By the way with dsp bypass and 4 cables connection (post 2 is my setup for the loop) while playing it does the troble with the volume.
Thanks,
Ec
Hi,
I found the problem, it was the amps. It drops the volume !!!
