Propellerhead Reason + Record Duo & Line 6 KB37 Setup Question

I just purchased this and so far really love it and have found it to be very easy to use! I have ran into one seemingly simple to solve problem though. When I plugged my acoustic guitar into the guitar input it is waaaaay distorted. I created a new audio track and just plugged into the input...just raw guitar, with volume right in the middle, and it's insanely distorted. I tried to just plug it into the 1/L or 2/R line inputs too an it doesn't even pick up in there! So the question is...how can I get my acoustic to pick up with no noise and how do I activate the line inputs. I don't have my mic's yet so I'm not even sure the mic inputs work yet! I have a feeling its just a setup issue that I probably skipped through to just start making sounds...haha! I back tracked but found nothing. Thanks for your help!
Hi there,
Not sure if you are on Mac or PC, but you actually would need to open the Line 6 Audio-MIDI Devices application to activate the line inputs-- that's where you activate inputs. It's in your Programs list in Windows, and at the bottom of the System Preferences on Mac.
Regarding the distortion: Even with pretty hot passive electric pickups, I don't have any distortion problems with the KB37 instrument input. If you have active electronics (battery powered) on your acoustic, it might have a much higher output, and if that is the problem, I would just dial back the volume on the guitar itself.
If you are having audio problems in general (especially on a Windows computer), you may want to try turning off the wireless card. However, if this is a simple matter of the guitar's output being too hot for the KB37 input, then the wireless card would make no difference.
I hope this helps.
