Peg broke off of Spider III

Alright, I just got my new Spider III last week and of course my brother needs to come home one night and trip over it ruining it.
The master volume knob fell off along with the plastic D type peg that was attached to it. Now, I can't even enjoy my amp! I can't figure out how to turn it/fix it. Please help, I need it fixed so I can continue jamming out like a manic. ![]()
Hi
Your brother has broken off the spindle for the master volume control. Your amp will need to be repaired at a Line 6 Authorised Repair Centre. I doubt this work will be covered by your warranty. It's not a big job, but obviously you or your brother will be liable for labour and parts costs. Having the work done by a non Line 6 authorised technician will almost certainly invalidate your warranty.
See the Find a Service Centre link under Support at the top of the page.
regards
Nick
Alright, there is one that's 6miles away from my house, which isn't too bad. But just one more quick question, and I'll mark the previous response as correct. Can you give an estimate of how much it will cost?
Hi
As for an estimate, that will depend on the Service Centre - I don't work for Line 6 either, so I don't really have a handle on likely repair costs. The part itself is a pretty standard potentiometer which you'd probably pay about £2.00 GBP retail for (about $3.00 US). It's about an hour's labour at the very outside, so that's probably what you'll have to pay for - and I'd guess a very rough estimate of £40.00 GBP (about $60.00 USD) so maybe around £45.00 GBP or $65.00 USD but please bear in mind I am very much guessing here. If your brother's paying - tell him he owes you twice that amount LOL
