RE-Amping with POD XT LIVE?

I want to use my XT Live with Logic 8 on leopard (later get SL if I can) I want to record a fully effected stereo signal of audio into Logic.

Then also at same time record a clean un amped signal on another logic track. This way I can always re-amp it later if need be.

How do I do this?

Do I set it up so I record left/right audio out for effected signal and then maybe use the USB out to do a clean if so how?

thanks

just trying to make some music

JUST HAD A THOUGHT!

Maybe there is a way to setup the POD XT LIVE so I record UN effected signal through the USB OR line out BUT! I hear in headphones all the patch effects. This way I can hear my tones and jam but then when I play it with out POD it is all strait clean and I can use what ever I want later to reamp CAN I DO THIS?

Re: RE-Amping with POD XT LIVE?

i'm having trouble working out how to reamp with my xt live too.  I have similar needs.  I'm researching now, so I'll see what I come up with.  might just move on to a UX8, as it comes with podfarm platinum. re-amp within your daw.
