Spider Jam v Spider 4 - Is Spider Jam 2 in pipeline??

Ive a spider iv 75 watt and am happy with the sound improvement from the spider 3. Im thinking of getting a spider jam and was wondering if it will sound as good as the newer spider 4. Are Line 6 looking to bring out a spider jam mark 2? Im really tempted to get a spider jam now but am unsure if it will disapoint as reviews on the web differ so much (harmony central etc). Ive seen what software upgrades will alter on the site. Wonder if it was possible to upgrade general amp sounds upto spider 4 standard? Any help would be appreciated.ThanksSpider Jam
This is a question that comes up regularly. The answer from the Line6 people is always the same - "Don't know!"
If there was a new version of the Spider Jam in development in the line6 R&D Department, it would be kept under wraps until the last minute and is unlikely to announced on a forum such as this after all, you might work for Fender ![]()
Thanks for your response. Think i won't bother getting a spider jam amp as knowing my luck i'll buy a new spider jam and then a week later a mark 2 will come out. By the way i don;t work for Fender, and even if i did i don't see why that would make any difference that would have in knowing if Line 6 were looking to bring out a spider jam 2???.

Ian's link worked fine for me (yours doesn't). I was talking about the Line6 link in the ad - just a placeholder at present.
Do you think it's legit ![]()
