Third party micropnone for Line 6 XD V70L ?

Is it possible to use a third party micropnone for Line 6 XD V70L?

It would be nice to be able to use, for example, the DPA 4088 headset, which requires a 5 V phantom power (minimum).

So, does the XD V70L provide a phantom power?

    It should work just fine, but I have not personally tried one.  I have tried it with Countryman and others.  You need to get it wired like the Shure cable with the 4 pin mini XLR.  The pin-out is in our  FAQ if you need it.

     

    Just for the record ... it uses "bias" voltage not "phantom" power and yes, the 70L provides bias voltage
