Double Bass sound

I want to create a double bass sound using my Line 6 Bass Floor Pod.
Can anyone suggest what settings I need for this, please?
Hi.
I have one too and you cant set the pedal for two different amp sounds as the pedal board firm ware and design of the circuitry doesn't allow for this. The Pod FX3 has "dual routing" like the vetta I or Vetta II. Upgrade like I'd like to from the Pod XT live to the FX3. The FX3 has the same bass amps (or guitar) and more. The FX3 has amps & cabs for bass & guitar both.
Hope this helps.

Hi Jeff,
Thanks for your response. I don't think I was very clear in what I was asking!
What I meant was that I'm playing a couple of sets of music with my current band. One of these sets is Jazz, and I want to create an acoustic double bass sound. To be honest, I expected a suitable sound to be included on the pod, and was very disappointed that there were loads of crazy, wacky sounds, and nothing as simple and obvious as this.
Anyone able to help?
Remember that the POD is about simulating amps & effects, and not about simulating different instruments. Perhaps there are some settings that may get you close, but it's not really what the Floor POD is designed for.
Any bass player types out there who can assist?
i can tell you that the pitch shifting effects and abilities where mostly left off of the higher end x3 line... and those that were on it... weren't all that great... seeing that the bass floor pod is a little lower on the food chain i'm not surprised that it doesn't have that feature... sorry..
Hi again,
I saw your reply and I will answer the best I can. If you're looking for a "Layered" sound then try the chorus in the "mod" menu when in edit mode. When you said "double" bass I took it as that you wanted to layer two sounds together at one time. To make your own jazz bass sound look at the head and cabinet list while you're in edit mode. Try the "amp 360" in the cabs list for a bassier sound. John Paul Jones used this amp on several Zep albums. Maybe after a few of your own tweaks to this head & cab set up and added chorus, it might be the sound you're looking for. Write back and explain what type of format of the band you are playing in.
Jeff
Thanks, Jeff.
The songs we're playing are lots of trad Jazz, like Natalie Cole. I can get away with a standard bass guitar sound, but was keen to try and emulate an acoustic double bass sound. I've had a go, but just wondered if others out there had ideas!
