infusion 2.0 and manual mode gliche?

I've tried for the first time since updating the amp for the new 2.0 infusion, to change into manual mode.
for some reason it doesn't want to go into it, no matter how long I press the manual button for.
Can someone confirm they get the same with the latest updates?
I checked the manual and it should switch to manual by just pressing the 'manual' button.
But since the infusion 2.0 upgrade you need to do the following I discovered.
Press and hold the tap to go into tuner, then press and hold the manual key after.
This will get you into manual untill Line 6 fix the little buggette.
My Spider IV is working like it should with the Manual Mode button after the Infusion 2.0 update. Try re-flashing the firmware again as suggested by the others
Nick
Thanks Nick helpful as usual, I will try.
As far as raising as a question, what are the procedures for doing such. As I where to find these things (my workplace is as bad), they are not alway as easy to find, as for the people who know them off by wrote.
Re-installed in order, Monkey, Edit then Firmware. No luck, Earlier I'd tried just the firmware. So short of trying the other 8 permiantations of the re-installs, I guess I'll just stick to the 'Tap', followed by the 'Manual' button. If it's working for Nick, all I can think of it that it maybe down to the low line speed on the broadband, affecting the lenghty Firmware download's packaging.
Final test:
Rolled back to infusion 1.52, and the 'Manual' button doesn't work either. Although it did before, but pressing the 'Tap' and then the 'Manual' works under 1.52.
So if Nicks is working, and mine not. I guess the issue is with my unit. It is not worth taking it to get fixed, if there is a work-a-round. As it is now a month out of warrenty, and would cost me to fix it. I doubt the fix to the issue would be to replace the gubbins behind the 'Manual' button.
Hi,
My guess would be to try to install the firmware 2.0 again. The reason I suggest this is because my amplifier is behaving the way it should (I can press the manual button and the amp goes to manual mode right-away). I installed 2.0 with no problems whatsoever.
Perhaps something happened with your download to 2.0? I don't think it would hurt to install the firmware again just to be sure...
Thanks, can't do any harm. will try tonight.
No it did't work.
But my work-a-round works still.
