The computer is only a small piece of the puzzle, although an important one. Appears to me that your PC configuration is an overkill if your are just starting to build a Home studio. You need a decent audio interface and good headphones if you can't afford studio monitors. What about the DAW? Consider n-track which is getting great reviews and you can have for less than $70.00. I have invested on external drives for storing my music and backups. Appears from your jpg that you have some kind of Line 6 audio interface (DI-Silver?) and perhaps access to Line 6 Guitarport Online which I would highly recommend. There are litterally hundreds of Internet sites that discuss building a Home studio ... spend more time planning what you want to do and delay your purchases until you have determined how you will divvy up your cash amongst all the required pieces of the puzzle. In this business, you can spend thousands of dollars and still not have everything you need, even for an entry-level system. But hey, the important thing is to have fun. I found that the planning part was a lot of fun too ... Good luck and a very happy new year with your music endeavors. John L.

Hey John great advice on all you said. Great idea. I have been researching all parts of the puzzle and i have to do one piece at a time so i thought i would buy the computer first so i can do some editing on my new mk 2 sv it,s down stairs in the man cave and this computer is upstairs in the living room so it is hard to go up and down every time i want to edited or do any thing on my amp. I am going to give this one to my wife and i get the new one. I am a beginner guitar player and it will help me a lot to have one hooked up with my amp. Thanks for all the advice and it has been lot of fun learning new things. Peace out / Rock on........
