HELP! GUITAR PORT LOW RECORDING LEVELS

I've been trying to fix this problem for a while now and no one seems to know how, not even people who are studying to become audio engineers.  I use guitar port and gearbox in my recordings and the recording levels are always too low. How do I get them louder?  WHen I turn up the volume, they distort.  here's one of my recordigns http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=34991hkjsmg someone please help

I had the same problem with the GuitarPort the only way to fix it is to get a better audio interface. The GuitarPort is great for jamming, practicng, and learnig guitar on a computer but,it wasn't realy designed as a recording interface,it works as one but it won't give you a strong enough signal going into your daw.I got the UX2 and,it made a big difference.
