Shortboard MKII is not working with Pod Farm 2

Hey,I want someone to help me out with this problem I have.

I tried to use my FBV Shortboard MKII with Pod Farm 2,I bought a Pod Studio UX2 and I tried to use the shortboard to control the wah, volume, delay, banks etc. but it seems that the tutorials that Line6 have are not helpful at all, they don't explain how they made the settings for the 1st time, they just explain how to click MIDI Learn.I open the FBV software, open Pod Farm file for FBV and  Pod Farm 2,then I make a new file with some effects and when I try to control the wah with my FBV but when I click MIDI Learn nothing happens, clear and the option below are not enabled to be clicked and that happen with every option to MIDI Learn,in my Pod Farm settings the FBV Shortboard MKII and UX2 are activated but FBV seems to have another option selected, there are 4 extra FBV options, the original FBV and extra FBV are enabled by default so I left that without changes and the screen in the FBV seems to be the same everytime I connect it to my PC,just numbers if move the expression pedal and if i click channels it says ch a/b/c/d.

What should I do? I'm about to destroy my FBV

    Hello,

I recorded that video tutorial so if it is falling short in some way, please let me know how I can improve it.

Now, please answer my questions below and try to be as detailed as you can so I can help you.

      1. Are you connecting your FBV Shortboard MkII directly to a USB port on your computer? Are you connecting to a USB powered hub? Have you tried other USB ports on your computer?

      2. Is MIDI Learn not working when you launch POD Farm as a stand alone application or when you try to use it as a plug in within your recording application?

      3. When you plug the FBV into your computer, does the computer recognize it at all?

Before using with the POD Farm 2 software, use the FBV control software to make sure all of the switches send a MIDI CC message.

After it is programmed, close the FBV Control program, then open POD Farm 2 and attempt to use the MIDI learn feature to control the software.

IF you have problems, make sure to test all of your computer's USB ports.

      Regards,

The POD Farm 2 presest has the A, B, C, and D swtiches set to bank change.  This setting is not useful to control effects on/off with MIDI learn.

So please provide me with the exact steps you are taking to control the software.

For Example, if you want to control the Wah movement, you click MIDI learn on the Wah position knob, then, move the Expression pedal back and forth so that the program recognizes the movement.  (Make sure it is sending a MIDI CC!)

Also, have you tried updating or re-installing the flash memory on the FBV Shortboard Mk II using the Line 6 Monkey software? IF not and the problems persist, please try re-installing or updating the flash memory on the FBV using Line 6 Monkey.

Re: Shortboard MKII is not working with Pod Farm 2

I'm having the same problem as I'm new to this Shortboard pedal. I am running podfarm 2.5 and the FBV control software. I'm lost on how to go about assigning presets and getting it to toggle between amp presets using buttons A,B,C,D, while also using it to control any MIDI pedal patches (stomp, delay, mod, reverb,) that may be in the signal chain. I'm very new to MIDI pedalboards and not sure how to go about this. I also need to calibrate it but I dont have a amp but my computer has a jack that will work with the included cable. can I do it that way or will the pedal work without being calibrated. I'm a noob so....
