Pod X3 Live Tutorial Available NOW!

Hey Line 6 enthusiasts!

My name is Steve MacKay and I am the Australian Line 6 clinician and I have made a tutorial DVD for the X3 Live.

In early 2008 I created a thread on the old forum asking people what they would like to see in this kind of tutorial DVD and I also put some things I like to see in tutorial DVD's, aliens, ninjas, sock puppets etc . . . The end result is now available via PayPal from http://www.twelvefootninja.com/x3dvd.

You can also see some YouTube video examples.

The topics covered are:

Summary of Contents:

Chapter 1 - Navigating the Menus This chapter gives a complete overview of the X3 Live's interface such as delving into the System Menu, Output Menu etc.

Chapter 2 - Connections Different ways of running the ins and outs on the X3L. Different configurations for direct to FOH, front end of an amp, FX Loops etc.

Chapter 3- Preset Creation How to buid a preset from scratch. Mastering the different elements such as EQ, Compression, Gate, Modulation effects, Delay and Reverb. Everything you would need to know to make better presets.

Chapter 4 - Pedal Assignments Connecting a 2nd expression pedal and assigning it and the onboard pedal for real time control of parameters other than Volume and Wah.

Chapter 5 - Software How to use Line 6 Monkey and an overview of Workbench for Variax users.

The DVD has over a 1 hour runtime.

Also features clips of Australian band and Line 6 users, Twelve Foot Ninja and some other quirky bits and pieces to break the mold of regular boring tutorials.
The DVD is presented in a casual REAL fashion as though you are in Steve's studio and he is showing you how to use the gear.

Now I cannot promise it covers every possible variable or anomaly within a unit with as much depth as X3L . . . But the feedback I have received has been positive from X3L users all over the world.

Check it out!

Cheers,

Steve
