Im completely new to this HD500 multieffects machine and would anybody care to tell me what are the steps in making my delay or chorus or any other effect that could make use of the tap tempo switch?thanks guyz
Hi
The way to find out about some of this stuff is to download the Advanced User Guide for the POD HD500 from the Support link above and by selecting Product Manuals. Choose POD HD and you will see all the manuals for the currently available POD HD units.
See Page 1-4 in the overview section, and see Page 2-7 which covers MIDI/Tempo options in the HD500's System Setup (page 6 on the unit itself)
The tempo you tap in rhythmically on the HD500 itself will make the Tap LED flash slower or faster and will be applied to effects such as delay and modulation where you have set the effect time using the crotchet and quaver type symbols rather than in milliseconds. Navigate to the effect in question in the signal chan display using the 4 way button and then select the delay time using number 4 encoder under the LCD.
You can set the tempo sync to be per preset or global by pressing and holding the View button and going to page 6, where by turning encoder 3 you can select TEMPO/SYNC as Preset or Global

Hi guys, I can't for the life of me figure out how to enable quaver mode once a patch is using milliseconds, say for the delays. I also tried to create a patch from scratch and when I add a delay by default it's in milliseconds. This is with the bean. I read the advanced manual and I tried switching the tempo sync to global rather than preset and that didn't seem to do anything. Can anyone enlighten me? Thanks
Keep turning knob 4 anticlockwise ( a long way!!! ) until you get there......or more easily do it connected to a PC using HD Edit.
