Sennheiser WIRELESS headphones not working well with Line6 UX1

I am a first time user.
My UX1 is set up properly, all drivers installed.
If I plug my shitty Phillips headphones into the UX1, the signal is a bit thin but it works. These headphones are connected to the PHONES socket by a lead and a nickel-plated adapter.
If I plug my lovely wireless Sennheiser headphones into the PHONES socket and nickel-plated adapter, the sound begins badly in the left headphone, swlells a little then moves over to the right before fading away forever. This weird little audio performance lasts about 6 seconds and after that I can't get any sound through the headphones whatsoever, no matter how much I try to tune the signal. After a while the headphones decide that no sound is coming through so they switch off leaving a loud constant static hissing sound in my eardrums.
The headphones work fine plugged into my PC speakers which work off the inbuilt soundcard. I can listen to music and filems, etc and I'm very happy with them. But it's not working out with the UX1 at all.
The Sennheiser Wireless headphones details are as follows:
SENNHEISER RS 110
Modulation: FM stereo
Power Supply: 9v DC via regulated power supply unit
Power consumption: < 1.8 VA
Radiated RF power: typ. 0.75 mW
Signal-to-noise ratio: tyo. > 65 dBA
Channels: 3
Connector: RCA phono plug, 3.5mm.6.3mm adaptor
Weight: - 180g(6.35oz)
Dimensions: - 85 x 110 x 133mm
AND.... it takes 2 x AAA batteries in the left headphone which it consumes every 2-3 days of moderate use!!!
Has anyone else out there experienced this before and how did they get over it?
Even, can anyone recommend a pair of wireless headphones which work well with the UX1?
Many thanks for reading this and I hope someone can help me because I'm desperate to get this working and start playing with my new UX1.
Hey huxtapan,
Sounds like your UX1 headphone jack is working just fine, since you were able to get sound using your other headphones. So I don't believe there is a problem with your UX1 headphone port. You mentioned that your headphones have 3 channels, have you tried using any of the alternate channels?
For additional support, please contact Sennheiser for troubleshooting advice with your headphones.
Thank you for your reply and advice. I've contacted Sennheiser support and am awaiting a reply.
