Hello,
I installed my UX2, updated everything, bought the high-gain amp pack, played/recorded/loved it...
Then I installed it on a second PC at my house so I could record at both locations if desired.
After the second install, I plugged it back into the original PC, now all my high-gain amps are CLEAN no matter what I do (they are still distorted on the other PC)
I have no idea what is going on, but I have since stopped using the UX2 out of frustration
Please help!

Did you receive any error messages when you brought it back to the first computer? What software are you using this with when you are experiencing this?
Can you please try installing our new tool Line 6 License Manager, which is available for free download at:
Launch the Line 6 License Manager and login to your Line 6 account. Then authorize your computers and UX2 for use with your license and account.
Please let us know if you are still having issues.
No error messages
Nothing but Pod Farm 2 and Cool Edit open on the PC
After updating to the newest software and licence manager, I can no longer hear ANYTHING AT ALL
There is no output from Pod Farm 2 at all (yet windows can play an mp3 thru my UX2 into my digital monitors still)
(yes the input works on the meters)

What version of Cool Edit Pro are you using? This could be the issue because the software has been discontinued for so long.
Have you thought of upgrading to Audition?

This issue has nothing to do with Cool Edit as I don't even get to the point to need to launch the program to use it as the UX2 does not work properly.
(I have an extensive IT background believe me I've tried it all)
Is there a way to completely restore the UX2 to factory?
Hey TunaSoda,
Please launch the License Manager and login to your Line 6 User account. Then authorize your computer and your UX2 again, when prompted to, please install the information on the UX2.
If you are having an input problem with POD Farm 2.5, then please try the following:
-Launch POD Farm 2.5 with your UX2 connected to your USB port.
-After the program launches, disconnect the USB cable from the UX2 for about 5 seconds.
-Replug the USB cable into the UX2.
-Open the preferences menu from the file menu.
-Reselect your UX2 and click apply.
-You should then see the Inputs tab appear and now receive sound.

None of this helps, and I already did all that.
I am having an OUTPUT problem, not an input problem (see above).
If I disconnect the UX2's USB cable with POD Farm open, it blue screens the PC.
I just don't use this product anymore, it just collects dust now...
Again, it worked just perfect and fine till I installed it on a second PC, then plugging it back in the original PC it no longer works ![]()

Please make sure to authorize each one of the computers you are trying to use the UX2 with. According to your Account information, you have only authorized one computer.
Although as you mentioned you are receiving sound, it is just not processing the sound correctly. That is an issue we are experiencing. So you in this case we would like you to proceed with the complete un installation of POD Farm 2.5 and then reinstall POD Farm 2.02 using the directions from the document below:
The PC that is NOT authorized works fine with it, the one that IS authorized does not

Looking at your profile, it says 'LCD as Hub' under USB devices.
Please make sure to disconnect all other USB devices (except for a mouse and keyboard) while troubleshooting this problem. Completely remove ANY HUBs (unless it is your monitor), even if not in use, and test the UX2 on all of the computer's USB ports.
Let us know if any of this helps. Please keep your computer this way for any further troubleshooting.

No this is not closed, still doesn't work...

can you please try to de-authorize and re-authorize your UX2 to your User Account, so that it may reinstall all of your active licenses into the device. Make sure to install the information when prompted too after authorizing it.
