JTV 89 and Ibanez RGA with GK3 modeling with HD 500

I see a few other members using Guitar Synths with their Line 6 gear, and decided to send a photo of my newest setup.

So, I have two routes for modeling,..Line 6 with my Tyler 89, and Roland with my GR-55. I have many Guitars with 13 pin access, but the one Im presenting here,is similar to the Tyler, fixed bridge, flat fretboard, etc. I have a Factory Ibanez with L.R. Baggs in an Edge Pro, which is sweet, and unbeatable when triggering Midi Patches, but the GK3 guitars seem to sound better when modeling, ala VG99, and the modeling side of the GR-55.

So after a few days of intensive testing,...I just love the Tyler's Mags and most of the Models. Now, if I just could just split the piezo signals and add a 13 pin out, I'd be even happier. The Adrian Belew Parker model at $8,000.00 doesnt even have the HD models, yet, although it does have Variax models wired into the 13 pin output.

For now, when I use the GR-55, i have the mag and Modeling summed to the guitar out, and then input into the HD-500. The HD 500 is set for output to Combo Power Amp via XLR outs to each Tech 21 Power Engine, while the GR-55 Synth sounds are set for output to Combo return via TRS cables also to each tech 21 Power Engine, (each Power engine has both XLR and TRS inputs).

When my DT 50 returns from Service, I am hoping to use the front end to drive the HD 500 effects into the Power Engines, with the dry signal returning to the DT 50 Power amp stage. I'll see how that works then.

I also have an Apogee GIO that I use for recording tracks into Logic Studio. My MacBook Pro is to far right mounted to a great Roland Laptop Stand.
