Will the POD HD guitar effects processor work with an Australian adaptor?

Hi, I live in Australia and want to buy this effects system for my boyfriend!

Only thing is, we need an adapter for it to change the voltage and make it fit into the wall socket.

He's worried it might screw around with the electronics or make delays and make it not work the same.

Does anyone know?

Thanks,

Valerie

Yes, it will work fine. I think it even comes with an adapter that will work in Australia (but I can't remember).

It uses a universal power supply, much like a laptop power supply, and comes with different adapters for different countries. Worst case, you just need a $10 travel adapter (not a transformer, just a physical adapter).

I'm an Aussie living in the US, but my 500 is is Oz and it works fine there. I bought it in the US due to the price gouging that goes on in Oz.

Short answer: you can buy it in the US and plug it in in Australia and it'll be fine. BTW, if it makes you feel more confident, I'm an electrical engineer.

    David.
