M9 B1 Switch Broken?

I have a Mp Stompbox modeler, ive only had it for a week and the top left (B1) button is hard to push down. it works but is nowhere near as smooth as the others. Can i open it with the alan key on the button? will this void the warranty? is there any other way to clean it?

If a switch on the M9 is sticking or broken. i would suggest taking it to an authorized service center for repair:

In Australia, Music Link is the Line 6 Distributor and they also handle service-related issues for Australian customers.

This assumes that you purchased your M9 from an Australian Dealer (that ultimately answers to Music Link):
