Tips on setting intonation on JTV59

I have had two JTV59's so far and both times I have struggled to set the intonation simply because:
(a) identifying the correct allen key (wrench) to use
(b) very fiddly trying to locate the correct allen key (wrench) in the socket for string saddle adjustment
(c) with strings in place and at correct tension there is no room for moving the allen key (wrench) to make a significant adjustment on the string saddle
(d) detuning the string to be adjusted to the point that it can be lifted off the saddle makes this a bit easier and gives more room for moving the allen key (wrench) but still fiddly and takes ages PLUS you have to keep retuning it to check progress as you go
Anybody got any tips on how to make the intonation adjustment on the JTV59 bridge as simple and easy as possible?
Thanks
Eddie
I worked on mine for a while--one of the Allen keys I have had tiny notches in the end so that it is possible to put it in at an angle and adjust...however I still took mine to a pro because I still wasn't satisfied with the intonation--haven't gotten it back yet but I'll report the results in about a week.
Of the allen keys that came with my JTV, the correct one for setting the intonation has a modified end on the long side. So for me, if I use the correct allen key with the long end in the screw, I can completely turn the key without interfering with the strings at all. So intonation is quite a simple process. Make sure you use the long end of the correct allen key, and hopefully yours also has the modified end that mine came with.
I ended up using that allen key with the modified end on the long side - however - I could not get the long end to connect in the saddle screw - it just seemed to spin and not turn the screw - so ended up using the short end as that did fit and was short enough to fit between bridge and bridge pu surround. (In fact, that's the reason I ended up selecting that key as it was the only one with a short side that seemed short enough to fit in that space.) Hence, my issue of not having sufficient room to move the key with the strings tensioned.
My JTV59 is currently with Line6 UK being repaired - so when I get it back I will try once more with that allen key but try the modified end instead. I have to say when I tried before that it just did not seem to connect with the saddle screw and would just spin without making the screw turn. Is there a trick to getting the modified end to connect with the screw?

Not really for me. You do have to make sure you get it in properly, but apart from that, once it's in it seems to make decent contact with the screw and pretty much just works.
Thanks David. When I get mine back I will try again with the correct end of the allend key - hopefully this time I will have more luck!
