I recently bought a brand new Line 6 UX2. I love it and the software it came with. However, I am experiencing problems with my computer (unrelated to the UX2), and might have to wipe my hard drive and reinstall my operating system. Since I had to register the UX2 and the software (Ableton came with a unique serial number), will I be able to use these products after I wipe my drive? Will I have to obtain a new Ableton serial number? Is the UX2 "locked" to this computer?
