In HD500 Edit, the tone files will be loaded into the currently selected preset location. To change the location, select a preset in the target setlist where you want the tone to go. You must double-click on that preset location before importing the file.

But an easier way is to drag/drop the tone file into the desired location after selecting a preset in the desired setlist.
