Why isn't my UX1 Pod Farm authorizing?

I bought it used off of musicians friend. It's in great shape, and I downloaded the software as needed. Downloaded the license manager from line 6 monkey and authorized it pod farm. BUT, Every single time I open pod farm as an application or in logic pro, it says it isn't authorized. And that I have to go to the the line 6 store and buy a license, which is very frustrating seeing as I just bought pod farm and shouldn't have to buy anything else to make it work. It should work fine. And authorize. But its not. I've done it over and over. And nothing. It runs in the trial version.
WHAT DO I DO.

are you trying to use pod farm 1... and not pod farm 2?
pod farm 2 is only included if you buy it new...
used only qualifies for pod farm 1 you'd have to buy a license for pod farm 2.
Pod farm 2 came in the box with what I bought. And will ux1 work with pod farm 1?
Is it free?
pod farm 1 is free... the box probably said pod farm 2 because it was pod farm 2... when it was new.....
buying it used changes things.
How much is the autorization code for pod farm 2? Do you have a link?
depends on which version you want: http://line6.com/podfarm/purchase.html
standard is 99$
and platinum is 299$ (includes all the model packs)
Dang. Well another problem.
I downloaded pod farm 1 and it come up and says its working fine but my ux1 interface is only producing static in and out. Its not the chords. I've checked and changed them all. I authorized it and it isn't giving me any problems like that. Just static. When I try to play anything from itunes to logic. And the ins and outs on the actually plugin show nothing but static. Peaking it.
What should I do? Is it broken? Or having problems with some sort of authorization.
Hey tpmjdd,
I went ahead and registered the unit to your account.
You might be experiencing static if you did not install the Line 6 drivers that use the UX1. I would suggest to follow the instructions below to set up the UX1 on your computer:
Download and install the latest drivers for your operating system:
Windows Drivers 4.2.4.9:
http://line6.com/software/readeula.html?rid=4143
MAC Drivers : 7.1.0
http://line6.com/software/readeula.html?rid=4171
Once the drivers are installed you will need to install the Line 6 Monkey application from the links below:
Windows Line 6 Monkey 1.43:
http://line6.com/getrelease?rid=4223
MAC Line 6 Monkey 1.43:
http://line6.com/getrelease?rid=4222
Once Line 6 Monkey is installed, remove any additional unnecessary USB and firmware devices from your computer when troubleshooting this issue. Make sure to connect it directly to a USB port and not a USB hub, extension, or keyboard of any kind, preferably connect it to a USB port on the rear of computer. Try using additional USB cables and every USB port available until you are able to launch Line 6 Monkey and detect the device.
Once Line 6 Monkey is launched apply any updates that are available until you have a green check next to each component.
Then you will need to close all open applications then use the License Manager software to de-authorize and re-authorize your device. Make sure to remove the information when prompted to, and then install again when prompted to, this will ensure that you reinstall all of your available Line 6 assets from your account into your device.
Hey, I bought a UX1 from a store on ebay and it won't authorise PodFarm? It's brand new but I can't seem to get it to work, any help?
Thanks in advance,
Max
