connections

Hi.  just bought a roland hd1 electric drum set,and i was wondering,can i run a connection from it's head phone jack,or the output jack to my ux2's line inputs on the rear,and use the ux2 as an interface? Thanks.

    Yes - you should be able to do that.

    Headphone jack will work fine though technically a headphone jack is a little hotter than a line input, just dont clip the input.

     

    Also, if the sound is stereo from your drum kit, then you will want to use a splitter from your stereo headphone jack to 2xmono 1/4 inch cables into the l and r line inputs. This makes it a stereo input when you select it line input stereo.
