Very New G50 Wireless Cable Won't Secure

I bought the new G50 wireless unit about 2 months ago. About 3 weeks ago, the transmitter popped off my guitar strap (this strap is a little thinner than my other straps) and fell to the ground. That one time caused the cable to pull from the transmitter and it appears to have basically caused the very thin plastic lip that the cable locks onto to have been sheared away. Everything still works perfectly and absolutely love the transmitter, but I am dissapointed what appears to be a poor design of what locks the cable in place. Can Line6 help me out with this. I know, I know, I know that it wasn't the transmitters fault that it fell off my strap, but ONE time and now it won't lock in place.
Regards
I'm sorry I opened in the wrong digital wireless section.
Absolutely. Please make a copy of your purchase receipt and your system to the nearest Authorized Line 6 Service Center (ASC): http://line6.com/support/serviceCenters/
They can replace the input jack on your TBP12 under warranty for you.
Hello Line 6,
I too have this EXACT problem. The only difference is I am having intermitten fall off of my signal because of it (I guess I jump around a little more than the guy above ;-) ). I purchased another cable as I thought the cable was the issue but it still does not seed or lock into the unit.
I did as you instructed above and contacted my nearest ASC (which is 20 miles away) and spoke with George at GPS (complete info below) and he said he really couldn't help me with the part I would need to replace the whole unit and he asked me to see if Line6 could do this for me as he's not set-up to do this kind of thing.
My band plays every weekend so I need the unit and don't want to send in the transmitter and wait for another one to be sent back, I just need the part sent to me.
PLEASE HELP let me know what you can do for me. I purchased my unit in July '11 thru Amazon and have a copy of my receipt.
Please email me what you need from me to facilitate (s/n, copy of recipt, etc.).
Thank you!
-Derek

Hi Line 6
I see my service ticket (165691) has been "closed" but I want to make sure it's still being worked as I sent in my transmitter to Line 6 on Monday, Nov. 7th and you should have received it on the 8th. Eric Stevens said he would expedite the repair for me. Please provide status. Thank you!
