I just purchased an X3 LIve and tried to tweak sounds in Gearbox.  I have had an XT LIve for about 5 years and always used Line 6 edit.  I just want to create or tweak sounds and save them or move them to different locations.

I have looked at the X3 manual and the Gearbox manual and I can't seem to figure out how to move tones?  I can tweak them, but after setting the outputs and saving, the output is higher after saving and pressing the location button (A, B, C etc)  I know Gearbox seems pretty powerful and has alot of different things you can do, but I just want to tweak, create, and save.

I have worked with dual sounds a little, but still can't arrive at the correct volume I have set?

Any suggestions?  I am not sure of all the different choices.  Master volume on X3, amp volume, Max Volume on Gearbox.  I'm sure it's probably really simple, but I am not getting it.
