GraphTech+Variax 300> HD500? anyone else do this mod?

I was looking for some clues on anyone else's experience with GraphTech Ghost saddles on a 300 running into a HD500.

Ghost saddles really make a big difference. I'm in the process of retweaking HD500 patches and was wondering how much change in the string volume in WorkBench  others have had to apply. Anyone have anything to share?

    I know this is old but I wanted to say that I had adjusted individual patch volumes down some a while back.  Yesterday I found the string volume setup in workbench and turned all strings down to 85%.  This affects all models so I only had to change it once and liked the results.

      I have Graphtech + V300 into an HD500. Some time ago, before firmware release v1.31, I had used Workbench to turn down the Pickup Volume level in the Variax to about 50% to reduce some input clipping on some Variax models, especially the Lester. When v1.31 was installed on theHD500 I revisited Workbench and found that I could bring the pickup volume back up to about 80% with no clipping. I have left it at that level since - no problems.
