Sing, Sing, Sing - C Tomlin

           3. I am Free- Newsboys

           4. All We Need- Charlie Hall

           5. Mighty to Save- Hillsong

Its the first time we've done Love is Here, but we are playing at our county fair this Sunday as well so we will be doing all of those songs plus

Re: Share Your Set for Sunday?

Great idea for a thread! We're always searching for new stuff to try. Here's ours from last week.

        1. Forever- ?

        2. Days of Elijah

        3. I'll Fly Away-traditional

        4. What My Eyes Will Embrace- (one of our compositions)

Most of the time our song leader just hands us a piece of paper with the lyrics on it and says "play this", so I don't know who does most of the songs we do.

Re: Share Your Set for Sunday?

Our Sunday contemporary service is and hour and a half so we usually have 7 or 8 songs.

          This Sunday we open with:

          1.  Meet With Me  (Read scripture during song...Genesis : God in the Garden looking for Adam and Eve and later in song read from Acts during Pentecost when the Holy Spirit shows up and blows up!!!)

          2.  The Happy Song

          3.  Trading My Sorrows

          4.  Let God Arise - Tomlin

Then we do another set after prayer and praise time before the message:

          1. I Could Sing Of Your Love Forever

          2.  Be Near -Shane and Shane

          3.  Praise the Father, Praise the Son - Tomlin

We usually play a quite instrumental during alter time also...something simple just acoustic guitar and Mando and then follow the Spirit which sometimes leads into other songs.

Great thread...it's nice to still ideas from you guys...you all are awesome to learn from.

    For me it will be:

    1) All Who Are Thirsty (Brenton Brown & Glenn Robertson)

    2) When I Call on Your Name (I don't have the music for this one!)

    3) No Eye Has Seen (Mark Altrogge)

    5) Amazing Grace (I don't know which version!)

Glory   Hillsongs Eb capo'd 1st fret in "D" shapes (Need the open strings for the common tones during the pre-chorus)

    * Just a note. I found  Dunlop electric guitar capos at Carvin in San Diego. They are very light and don't pull my strings (10s) sharp. They are low profile and can be set right behind the fret and not get in the way.*

Come Let Us Return To the Lord    Brenton Brown  D

Lord I Thirst For You   Gary Sadler....will know more about this'un after Thurs rehearsal

    The Wonderful Cross   D

    Mighty To Save   F

70's Telecaster with a big fat neck and 2 Fender Humbuckers, a sheer joy to play!
