Help.....-.-
alot of people are writing thing about post and pre...
now my silly question.... whats the different????
and how can i set this blog as a questionblog ?????? :S
pre come after guitar and before amp
post comes after amp\preamp
haha thx^^
so much i already knew but i mean where is the differents between the sounds^^
tnx anyway XD
can be a huge difference...
for instance... take a simple volume pedal....
placing it pre, will change how much input you are feeding the amp...
reducing the gain when you lower the volume... (changing your tone)
putting it post would lower the volume of your tone, keeping the gain intact and for the most part your tone too.
there are different reasons you might want one over the other... no right/wrong
another good example is the looper...
doing it pre... loops the guitar without amps/effects...
then you can put the guitar down and dial in your tone while the loop plays...
putting it post records amps/effects allowing you to change tones and solo over top of it...
is there something like a rule which effekt sounds best pre or post???
most things are not hard/fast rules... but there are "typical" uses...
best to just read up on the whole effects chain order:
http://audio.tutsplus.com/tutorials/production/effect-chain-order/
tnx ill read it^^
ohhh this tutorial is really good XD
tnx alot...
